The first Cakes and Bakes was created by David Chandra Kumar Joseph in Eastham in London in the year 2001.
We are the pioneers of introducing Eggless Cakes and many more variety of fresh cream cakes both novelty and traditional birthday cakes.
With its first shop in 2001 in Eastham, we expanded with few other branches in London at Forestgate, Barking Side, Barking Road and Barking. We now only have three direct branches with our brand The Cakes and Bakes Original Since 2001.

David Joseph
Founder
The founder David Joseph was born in a baking family and graduated from Catering College in India and had a Special Higher Diploma with the Cordon Bleu School of Baking from France and having a wide experience in French baking for Ten Years in Paris, France.
From France he explored some parts of world for getting exposure for different recipes, baking styles and finally opened his first own brand Cakes and Bakes Original since 2001 in Eastham, London.
